Everything is going wrong
The deconstruction trend has been on the catwalk for a long time, and I’m not surprised: everything in the world has gone wrong, and fashion is just a reflection of what’s happening around it. In the spring, we’ll be looking at hems cut on the diagonal, like at Bottega Veneta, Courreges and Co ; asymmetrical blouses, like at Ferragamo, Christopher Esber and Kallmeyer ; and irregular collars, like at Khaite . The easiest way to achieve asymmetry is to tuck only one side of the shirt into the skirt/trousers, like at Stella McCartney and Ferrari , and for the most daring, I suggest trying the emerging trend of trousers with one leg, like at Louis Vuitton and Coperni .

Not just a flower meadow
It seems that the floral print has not left its colleagues a chance to displace it from its pedestal for several seasons. However, based on the results of the latest shows, it became clear that a worthy successor to floral patterns has emerged. Designers vote for stripes in all their manifestations: confident diagonal ones, like Louis Vuitton, By Malene Birger, Palmer Harding and Co , thin vertical ones, like Erdem, Alberta Ferretti and Victoria Beckham , but especially for touching marine ones, like Sacai and Christian Dior . However, the latter is a classic, but it can also be interpreted in a new way, for example, “presented” with the same asymmetry, like Proenza Schouler .

Having tightened the belts and tied the sleeves
The simple way to tie a shirt or jumper at the waist has not only become a stylistic device, but has also given rise to a new trend – sleeves in unobvious places. They can be sewn onto a dress instead of a belt, as at Ferragamo, Proenza Schouler and Chloè , or appear in unexpected places to create a new piece, as at Miu Miu , which turned a jumper into a corset. However, most brands have not gone the hard way and have created simple layering by tying the piece at the waist or throwing it over the shoulders.

Smart Outdoor
The pandemic has changed the world of fashion forever. And now we don’t want to part with either comfortable clothes or the chic and shine that we so lacked then. As a result, a certain symbiosis style has emerged that has elevated outdoor clothing to a new level. Windbreakers, parkas and waterproof raincoats are now not just a necessity, but a tangible trend. Designers are releasing collections dedicated to different sports and creating collaborations with the best outdoor brands, and we are offered not only to climb mountains or walk in the forest, but also to go to parties, throwing a parka over an evening dress.

Lit up
The trend for generous decor has also come into our everyday wardrobes after the isolation period, but each season it acquires new features. In the spring, we pay attention to things with tiny bells, like Stella McCartney , dresses made of crystal pendants, like Balmain , patterns of iridescent glass beads and rhinestones, like Erdem, Ermanno Scervino and Carolina Herrera , and jeans and shirts that sparkle no worse than a disco ball, like Ralph Lauren, Monse and the same Stella McCartney . Such things will help you out when you need to go out to both a feast and the world. And as for me, there is no need to wait for a reason to shine!
