This article is for anyone who had trouble getting out of bed today or for anyone who couldn’t get out of bed today. For anyone who struggles with depression, burnout or other things that make life very difficult.
This one is for everyone who managed to take a shower today and had tears in their eyes in the meantime. Who, instead of feeling energetic and fresh again, had to sit or lie down for an hour or more after his or her shower. With your towel still in your hair because there was no energy left to dry your hair or even put on your clothes.
This one is for anyone who forces themselves to keep going.
And this is for you, for the person who couldn’t take a shower today because you’re empty, physically and mentally.

This is a heartening encouragement for all the people who are having a hard time right now, where simple tasks that other people take for granted feel like climbing a mountain.
For everyone who has to climb these mountains and for the people who were unable to brave the mountains today.

You do not have to be ashamed.
It’s not easy and I’m proud of you.
Proud that you’re trying anyway. Proud of who you are and I hope that one day you can be that proud of yourself too.
