After the final note of the main spring shows has sounded, it is high time to sum up the final results of the fashion marathon. I returned to the collections of the most significant players in the industry several times not only to admire the beauty again and again or to record obvious failures, but also to highlight the obvious trends of the next spring season: catch the 4 main ones, 3 microtrends and a bonus – a new way of styling.
Trousers
Among the most interesting microtrends of the upcoming season, I noticed harem pants. They say that this model came into European fashion back in the 19th century thanks to one of the main activists in the fight for women’s rights, Amelia Bloomer. Later, the famous French couturier Paul Poiret approved them as a fashionable model of pants. Inspired by the fairy-tale costumes of Scheherazade and Cleopatra, created for the “Russian Seasons” by Leon Bakst, Poiret created outfits in the oriental style and even organized a thematic masquerade called “A Thousand and Two Nights”.

It looks like harem pants are the rising trend of spring 2025. Scroll through the gallery and see how designers are reinterpreting these oriental trousers today: knee-length at Valentino and Louis Vuitton , short pantaloons at Giorgio Armani and Chloè , and maximally repeating the traditional model at Alaïa and Zimmerman .
Alaia
The easiest way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe may be to style it – just tuck your trousers into your boots, as Prada and Emporio Armani did .

Sport
Even if you are far from sports (but not from fashion), it is time to fill your wardrobe with elements of the uniform of football players, track and field athletes, swimmers and tennis players. This does not mean promising yourself that you will start doing sports from Monday. It means that the style at the junction of everyday and physical culture (or simply athleisure ) will now settle down not only in the wardrobes of fashion bloggers and stylists, but also in yours. Moreover, it is recommended to combine all these attributes with things far from sports. Catch examples in the gallery!

Off-White
One leg
Fashion echoes the general chaos, and now disordered layers, raw edges, cut sleeves are conquering the catwalks. In this review, I will tell you about one microtrend that shot up, as a component of the global trend for deconstruction. In the spring 2025 collections, a new model of trousers (or skirt-trousers) was noticed, which cautiously appeared at Victoria Beckham in the form of one cut leg and unfolded in full at Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton and Coperni, and completely lost one leg.

Office
Officecore has firmly established itself in the current fashion agenda, first of all, because it is no longer such a strict dress code. The modern adaptation of the business style offers a lot of concessions, thanks to which it is appropriate not only in the office, but also outside it: a T-shirt as an alternative to a shirt, sneakers as a replacement for pumps, bright colors and even prints.

Erdem
Bermudas
The third microtrend of my review, and again trousers! Bermudas became an official hit a couple of seasons ago, and they are not going to give up their positions. These short trousers or long shorts (as you prefer) are famous for their versatility. Due to the classic cut and moderate length, they can liven up office looks, balance sports ones, perfectly complement everyday ones and even become part of evening ones.

Decor
I again urge you not to be convinced that fashion clearly lacks fresh ideas, but to use ideas from the catwalks and create creative images from current trends. The most reliable assistant in this is decor on clothes and accessories. Let’s look at examples and catch inspiration in the photo gallery – from a scattering of rhinestones and sequins at Fendi, Emporio Armani and Erdem , to feathers at 16 Arlington and Alexander McQueen ; fur boas, hats and lace gloves at Valentino ; a scattering of shiny fringe at Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney and Christian Dior .

Emporio Armani
Flowers
And now about the most spring trend! Apparently, the need for the therapeutic effect of fashion is now even more acute than before, if the catwalks of all four fashion capitals are in full bloom. Floral patterns pleased not only the outfits of obvious adherents, but also dresses from Vetements, Uma Wang, Prada and Marni .

Bonus
Parka/windbreaker plus evening dress is a maturing trend for the next season. This style has a slightly youthful shade. As if you are going to a party and need to discreetly take off and hide your jacket to immediately appear in front of your friends as a real princess. Burberry, No 21, Prada, The Attico and Del Core offer to pick up this mood .
