Jonathan Anderson celebrated his tenth anniversary at Loewe with a spring/summer 2025 show. With every invitation, he included a gold-plated silver ring engraved with the brand name as a gift.
“I wanted the collection to give the impression of something round, like this ring.”
Anderson decided to start the show with what he does best: a silhouette that “bouncy, curved, long or cut roughly, moving sideways and away from the body, as if falling in and out of sleep.” It was embodied in breezy, floral dresses with crinolines that revealed round hoops. Breathe in and out: corset-free, hands in pockets, models in two-tone oxfords, loafers, or high-top sneakers look as casual as if they were wearing regular sportswear.

T-shirts featuring Chopin, Bach, Van Gogh’s sunflowers and irises, and Manet’s soldiers are actually made of feathers.
“I like the idea that they’re like pin-up rock stars. It’s like going to a museum or a concert: an unforgettable experience that you want to take home with you.”

Upon closer inspection, it turned out that both delicate skirts and camouflage capris were made from feathers.

Reimaginings of French couture dresses from the French Golden Age weren’t limited to translucent crinolines with floral prints; trapezoid mini dresses, knitted or covered in sequins, appeared on the catwalk.

There were leather biker jackets in Andersen’s signature silhouette, elegant draped leather trousers secured at one hip with a Loewe tag , and a coat with a sculpted, flowing hem.

Mini coats were made from mother-of-pearl shells, bell-shaped skirts were paired with leather jackets, and boots resembled clown boots and were several sizes too big.

This collection had everything that Jonathan Anderson is so loved for – work with unique materials and masterful cutting, with the help of which the designer creates real art objects. After the show, Jonathan received a standing ovation, including from his fellow designers Sarah Burton, Nicholas Di Felice, Kris Van Assche, Peter Moulier and Adrian Appiolaza, as well as Delphine Arnault and all his friends in the industry.
