The main reason Giorgio Armani came to New York to show his spring/summer 2025 collection was to announce the reopening of his boutique, as well as the Armani Ristorante and his Madison Avenue apartment.

The designer, who recently celebrated his 90th birthday, continues to amaze us with his work ethic and inexhaustible creative inspiration. This time he showed 90 looks that were certainly more than just a retrospective. The huge exhibition space on Park Avenue with its semi-circular banquettes resembled a fantastic Armani waiting room , and the models were train passengers. The first of them was dressed in a short trench coat and wide trousers tucked into boots. A porter with luggage followed her, but she also had a belt bag and a clutch tucked under her arm.

The next passengers, although they did not have the help of a porter, were no less elegant.

So, the designer marked the new stage of his creative path with a collection of luxurious travel clothing, which used numerous crafts from all over the world, made using a unique author’s technique.

Armani’s travelers wear shirts with sculpted shoulders and vests made of silk jacquard, relaxed trench coats and translucent taffeta dresses.

They love feminine silhouettes, easy layering, and statement accessories. They also take their beloved pets with them on their travels.

And the passengers of the Armani brand train certainly did not forget to put in their luggage spectacular evening dresses made of silk jacquard and golden taffeta, weightless, embroidered with crystals, beads and sequins.
