Etro creative director Marco De Vincenzo has a difficult task, as he must find a balance between the brand’s rich and very authentic heritage and his penchant for graphic, kinetic maximalism. However, he continues to find his way, and the Pre-Fall 2025 collection is another step in refining his own approach to Etro’s bohemian luxury style .
He cinches double-breasted coats, blouses and mini-dresses with the signature paisley pattern at the waist with leather laces; raises the waistband of flared jeans (with the same paisley) extremely high; and complements luxurious silk floor-length skirts with laconic knitted polos.

De Vincenzo’s take on the bohemian aesthetic sits comfortably alongside minimalism: sporty looks are complemented by signature boho patterns, as is a ’60s-style skirt and short jacket suit, and simple palazzo pants are paired with a translucent blouse with tiered ruffles.

And yet, the main thing in the collection remains the style of bohemian luxury, but in a more delicate execution: flowing chiffon maxi dresses are not overloaded with heavy decorations, all the variety of prints are made in one color palette, and the silhouettes please the eye with their purity.

I noticed a new interpretation of fringe, which adorns unexpectedly strict shapes, and incredibly light and feminine images in ivory color.
