Bally creative director Simone Bellotti created his spring collection with the refined grace that has become his calling card. The collection was called Counterpoint (from the Latin punctus contra punctum – point against point). In music, this is the simultaneous combination of two or more independent melodic lines in different voices. Bellotti, like a seasoned conductor, tried to combine different stories, forms and textures on the catwalk.
Despite the fact that the pieces were made of dense materials, they did not feel rigid; rather, they exuded an unusual fragility: “What I’m trying to do is find a balance between rationality and whimsy.”

In true Swiss style, Bellotti turned to a mountain-inspired silhouette in his collection, integrating it into the necklines of coats and blazers. In some pieces, this was combined with rounded shapes inspired by alpine bellflowers (check out the active peplums). A particularly striking piece was the burgundy leather coat with slanted shoulders, a nipped waist and a balloon skirt.

Pastel floral prints were paired with rugged studded boots; delicate drapery was paired with a massive metal belt buckle; and silhouettes that repeated the curves of bells were echoed by bags of the same shape.

As you know, Bally began its journey at the end of the 19th century with the production of shoes. Today, the brand produces clothing, shoes and leather goods, being the oldest company in the field of luxury accessories. From its very foundation to this day, the house uses the latest technology, highly qualified craftsmen participate in production, and the highest quality leather is selected for the products.
