I continue my guide to the spring-summer 2025 collections with a story about the main palette of the season. This time on the catwalks there was a real fight between pastel and active, energetic colors, which ended in a draw. How is this possible, you ask, if we are talking about 5 colors? It’s all about blue, in the clan of which there was a split – soft blue shades shared the palm with bright blue. I will start my review with them.
Blue vs Light Blue
The palette of blue colors was presented on the catwalk in its entirety – from azure and cornflower blue, like LESEL, Ralph Lauren, Emporio Armani, Ferragamo, Tommy Hilfiger , to sky blue and indigo, like LESEL, Stella McCartney, Patou, Prabal Gurung, Brandon Maxwell and others. The choice is so great that you can easily find a complimentary shade for yourself.

Pink
The pink palette sounded in the spring collections as tenderly as possible. It is impossible not to fall in love with shades of pastel pink, like Moschino, Richard Quinn, Bora ; cotton candy, like Prada, Bottega Veneta, Standing Ground, Vivetta ; pale lavender, like Patou, Del Core ; pastel pink, like Chanel, Brandon Maxwell, Lemaire !

Citrus
Designers suggest that we greet spring with a shock dose of vitamin C and dress in all shades of citrus fruits – from bitter lime, like Prada, Moschino, Erdem; to juicy lemon, like Issey Miyake, Carolina Herrera, Ferrari; and Sicilian orange, like Alexander McQueen, Alberta Ferretti, Giambattista Valli . We are waiting for the spring-summer 2025 season to walk out images in vitamin colors, which, by the way, will perfectly shade tanned skin.

Butter
Pure bright colors are great. But sometimes you want something more subtle, elegant and unobvious. Then halftones come to the rescue. So, if citrus shades seem too active to you, designers have offered an alternative. A complex, sometimes elusive shade of butter is much softer than yellow, but more interesting than cream. At the same time, it is very noble and universal, as hinted at by the collections of Jil Sander, Prada, Chanel, Toteme, Alaïa and many others.

Red
For several years now, no color has been able to knock red off the fashion pedestal. We are offered an alternative in the form of burgundy, brown, terracotta, but it is the active red color that is a must have for the spring-summer season of 2025. Moreover, designers are betting on an option for the decisive and bold – red total look! Shades of total red of the coming spring are seen in the collections of LESEL, Ralph Lauren, Jil Sander, Ferragamo, Valentino, Alaïa, Balmain and many other brands.

As always, what do you think of these and your choice of color? I would love to know which shades suit you, which colors you prefer, and which ones you haven’t decided to try yet.
Don’t forget about likes and subscriptions, which we really, really need. Thank you!
