How it started

The Chatroulette website was set up by Russian teenager Andrey Ternovskiy from Moscow. Believe it or not, he got the website up and running in two days and nights. How does chatroulette work?

3. Next button

If the conversation doesn’t go as planned or your conversation partner decides to leave, you can simply move on to the next conversation by clicking the “Next” button. The same goes for the other person – if they’re not interested, they can skip you too.

4. Webcam obligation
