Paris Fashion Week has ended, and with it the month-long marathon of spring-summer 2025 shows. I studied the collections from the Paris shows and identified the 7 most notable trends of the season.
Boho
Bohemian style is experiencing another invasion. But the modern mix of “gypsy” skirts with ethnic motifs, flowing floral dresses, striped ponchos and large jewelry represents a more refined and minimalist aesthetic, while maintaining a free-spirited character. Maybe we are really a little tired of androgyny and versatility in clothing, and want a little more lightness, freedom and femininity? Then we catch examples of boho chic from Saint Laurent, Valentino, Chloè, Loewe and others.
Loewe
Deconstruction
Personally, I am not surprised that the technique of turning things inside out, exposing seams and layering garments on top of each other has “shot” in all fashion capitals this season. Fashion in general is a mirror reflecting social changes in the world. The world is in chaos, as a result, on the catwalk there are things with one sleeve at Christian Dior, Victoria Beckham and Balmain ; transformable and trick clothes at Carven, Issey Miyake, Louis Vuitton and Sacai ; asymmetrical silhouettes at Courreges, Alexander McQueen and Christopher Esber .
Courreges
Silhouette
The sculptural silhouette is directly related to deconstruction. But the Paris catwalks showed so many things with unusual voluminous shapes that I singled out this trend as a separate point. Inspiration can be found in Gabriela Hearst and Schiaparelli , who rounded the sleeve line; in Carven, Courreges, Issey Miyake and Acne Studios , who offered special fabrics and fillers that can hold their shape; in Loewe, Nina Ricci and Rochas , who gave unusual shape to the hems of dresses by putting them on a crinoline.

Fun officecore
Paris has finally confirmed that officecore is still relevant. What’s new this season? It seemed to me that the women’s suit no longer has a “defensive” function, it has become more relaxed, like Miu Miu, Loewe and Stella McCartney , feminine, like Nina Ricci, Victoria Beckham and Alexander McQueen , and elegant, like Saint Laurent, Christian Dior and Schiaparelli .

Sport
“Ready, set, go!” – said the designers, and for several seasons now the style at the intersection of everyday and sports has continued its fashion marathon. Now elements of the uniform of football players, track and field athletes and tennis players can be successfully introduced into everyday wardrobe, combining them with things far from sports. Chloè and Louis Vuitton style cycling shorts with delicate blouses; Rabanne, Stella McCartney and Miu Miu vote for the tracksuit; and Christian Dior offers a swimsuit as a base for creating an image.

Gold
So, Paris has officially declared gold the most fashionable precious metal of the next spring. Surprisingly, the gold rush made a comeback not in the fall, when we warm ourselves with warm colors and dress up for Christmas, but in the summer. Let’s take note and get inspired by gold prints and embroidery, like Rabanne and Balmain ; rhinestones and glass beads in the color of yellow metal, like Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney ; brocade, like Saint Laurent , or dress in gold from head to toe, as Gabriela Hearst and Rabanne suggest .

Decor
In spring 2025, Miu Miu and Stella McCartney encourage us to keep our heads up and shine; Valentino, Acne Studios and Chanel to adorn ourselves with naive bows; and Christian Dior, Gabriela Hearst and Giambattista Valli to emphasize our flying gait with dynamic fringe. Designers will support any of your choices, the main thing is to add at least a drop of decor to your outfit.
