Even though we all know very well that there are some things we should not do in a relationship, we do them anyway. We do things that we know are not wise. It arises from routine, character, situation or boredom. Do you want to keep your relationship healthy and fun? Then don’t do these things.
1. Keeping a secret from your partner
A secret is never good for a love relationship. Therefore, always tell your partner everything. At least the things that have to do with the relationship. A secret always comes out eventually. If your partner finds out that you have been keeping a secret for a long time, there will only be more anger.
2. Forcing your partner to do something he or she doesn’t want to do
Are you ready for the next step yet? Then make sure that you don’t push your partner to take that next step. If your partner is not ready yet, it is better to be patient. Talk about it and show understanding.
3. Solve your partner’s problems without being asked
Is something bothering your partner? Don’t assume that your loved one wants you to solve the problem. If so, your partner will ask. Until then, just be understanding and offer a listening ear. A partner can often solve the problem themselves.
4. Pretending to be something other than who you are
Do you like someone? Then it may be tempting to pretend to be something other than who you really are. But let’s be honest: you’ll never keep that up. Eventually you will be exposed and that is not good for your relationship. So always be yourself and don’t make things more beautiful than they are. If you are meant to be , then your partner likes you just the way you are.

In fact, it’s a sign that you don’t respect your partner’s privacy. If you want to know something, it’s better to just ask him or her.
7. Creating expectations that are too high
Do you believe in fairy tales? When you are in a relationship, you discover that fairy tales do not exist. If your expectations of your relationship are too high, your partner will never be able to meet them. Set the bar at a height that is acceptable for you and your partner. And don’t be afraid to adjust your expectations if it turns out that they can’t be met.
8. Get old cows out of the ditch
If there is anything that is disastrous for a relationship, it is that you bring up old hurts, in other words, that you drag old cows out of the ditch. You have to be able to put what ever happened behind you. So bringing up things from the past is never a good idea, even if you want to make a point. Let the past be the past and don’t bring it into the present.

Taking your partner for granted is fatal for your relationship. Because you no longer give your partner a priority, the relationship feeling changes. An unhappy partner is often the result.
10. Not being ready in difficult times
Don’t abandon your partner in sad and difficult times. Providing support is essential for a healthy relationship. If you don’t, can it still be called a relationship? 11. Lying to your partner

12. Run away from arguments
